Given the International Association for the Protection of the Syrian Linguistic and Cultural Heritage, IAPSLCH, states in its charter in regard to the objectives of the association that the production of literary, intellectual and journalistic content in Levantine, a contemporary Syrian mother tongue, is one of its main goals, we begin our course of action with project 01 which aims at creating a corpus for Levantine. To achieve this demanding and long-term objective concerning a language which suffers from both official and unofficial neglect, disregard dishonor and and is usually confined to the oral expression and associated with it, we undertake the task of publishing literature written in this language on our website and all the media to which we have access as a first step towards the result aimed at. We commit ourselves to encouraging creative writing in Levantine and all literature written in it or even about it as far as it helps Levantine reaching recognition.
